Help prevent fleas by feeding your dog or cat Solid Gold English Rescue Brewers Yeast or NaturVet Brewer's Yeast & Garlic. The ingredients in these supplements cause the animal's blood to be unpalatable to fleas. Start early in the flea season, as it takes a month to be effective. Brewers yeast is high in vitamin B, important for nervous and immune system health and to promote healthy skin and coat. Vacuuming frequently, especially in places where your pet sleeps or plays, helps eliminate the young.
